The moon-sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that today, Saturday, May 27th, 2017 is the 1st day of the Holy Month of Ramadhan 1438 A.H. for the entire region of North America!
Felicitious greetings to the entire Muslim community on this blessed month. May Allah’s blessings be on all during the month of fasting and duas. May we achieve nearness to our creator during this time!

 

Daily Program

 

Starting from Saturday, May 27th, 2017 (Daily)

7:45 p.m. – Recitation of the Quran

8:00 p.m. – Maulana Syed Askari’s speech

8:00 p.m. – Children’s Workshop (for ages 4 – 10)

Salaat-e-Maghribain & Iftaar/Dinner

9:40 p.m. – Dua-e-Iftitah & Jashan
