Ramadhan 1439/May-June 2018

The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Friday, June 15th, 2018, will be the first day of the month of Shawwal, 1439 A.H. for the entire region of North America.

This determination is based on the fact that there were reported sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye during the sunset of Thursday, June 14th, 2018, from many locations in the United States.

Eid is on Friday June 15 2018, Program will start at 8:30 AM with Dua e Nudba. Salaat e Eid at 9:00 AM. Fitra is $12

Daily Program

Starting from Thursday, May 17th, 2018 (Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun)

7:30 p.m. – Recitation of the Quran
7:45 p.m. – Maulana Rizvan’s speech
Salaat-e-Maghribain & Iftaar/Dinner
9:45 p.m. – Dua-e-Iftitah & Jashan
